your thoughts please ive been givin a price quote brom brewers for a 4 speed conversion on my 62 dodge dart price seems fair for what you get anyone has done this already please give me the pros and cons

If you’re looking to change it to a four-speed, you might wanna think about an overdrive and go for five speed. Silver Sport Transmissions are pretty reasonable with their kits.

Done it many times. A little cutting and welding (very little) and it’s a simple job. Challenge is gathering all the parts and making sure your crankshaft has an accepable pilot hole.

I bought the Brewers 4 speed conversion kit for my 71 a few years ago. It is a very complete kit with every part, nut, bolt and screw you need to do the conversion. The only thing I had to buy separate was a clutch safety switch (which is optional).
