Only thing that PO me guy could top as tight on drivers side sail panel.

Had a top put on in 1980+/- Guy didn't say the cables that run along top of window were shot. Guy just put the top on, top would expose 1/2" of frame. This top the guy called about the missing cables. There $60 for the pair, of course put them on.

So I rebuild and hand cleaned every single part of the top and paid very close attention to those cables and their length. They also act as a guide to keep the top centered. Reading all the manuals and build guides I could...I soon understood why all the little details of seals and trim ect had to be pretty much perfect. My upholstery guy has been doing this for 45 years and gave me several tips on what to do to make it easier on him...and save me money.

Mn Gold sees completion!!!

I’ll get more pics of this beautiful top, but my man over at Chris’s Trim Shop over in Hsltom city did a perfect job.

My god I’m greatly appreciative for all the help and intel from you folks . Lots of adjustments to make, but it’s all together and still all American!

Don't use any cleaner with ammonia on rear window. It will turn it yellow, did your guy recommend any cleaning procedure? I use fresh water with car wash and a freshly cleaned brush. Gently rub window, to dry take a roll of paper towels and roll it on window, no rubbing. Have used Pledge and new micro-fiber towel occasionally.
Looks sweeeet.

Rear window is glass, but I totally agree about product. Mothers VLR all the way!

I spent so many hours getting the frame just right

She's not concourse, but she's been rebuilt to a good standard with all original parts. I'm very proud of it.

Going to add some of the old school pics of this car before resto

My 70 Challenger rag top had a glass back window and was glad of that! Not sure if there was an option for that or not.....and congrats on your first car hangout outing!

What are you doing putting you rough jacket on a fresh paint job !!!!, even if it is your car he he.

The jacket is a Nomex one I got 30 years ago via card game......its funny my son has managed to borrow it for the last 4 years.
