Looking for specs on this old Manley cam out of a 440. Only markings I can find are shown.
"Manley" and "17383" on the snout, and it looks like "107" on the shaft, a few paint bands and dabs.
I believe it is a "Thunderstick" , but am coming up dry searching the internet, including Manley's website, so far. Has anybody run one one of these cams?
I would love to see a cam card!

Thanks!

Do a mic on the lobe, at least gives you a ball park

Call Manley Tech department. They have a old archive with a lot of that information.

I was able to find out a little. I think it is a "Thunder Stick"

"That is a low rpm 2500-4500 range cam.
Specs are 292* adv, 0.512" lift, 230* @ 050. Lot of duration for the stated rpm range."

Check the lobe lift.
I believe the “512” info is incorrect.

The popular white box “292” cam is .320 lobe lift....... .480 at the valve with a 1.5 rocker(its .512 with a 1.6 rocker).

The grind I’m thinking of is the same cam as a Lunati 10210432.
Also sold thru the years by several other brands.

@PRHeads

I know it's been a while, but finally got a lobe lift measurement, and you nailed it!
The Lunati number enabled me to get their cam card.
Thank you!
