Been an awful year for me health wise, and getting ready for another knee replacement.....but getting the car ready for a hopeful mid--season start to some Nostalgia SS racing this year. We'll see.
A great friend was over today, to help me get the car ready for a new chassis-cert, and a couple updates at the chassis shop, next weekend. The old girl is running great.

Get it out to the GLSSA. Great group to race with.

Sounds Great!

Good luck with your racing plans, and your knee replacement. I have had both of mine done as well, and it was the best thing I did. Some pain at first, but it gets better. Keep exercising those knees before and after surgery to keep muscles and ligaments strong.

Nothing like the sound of raw horsepower!
Ever since I was a kid I would get a primitive adrenalin rush at the sound of an engine like yours.
And what an adrenalin rush I just started with this morning upon hearing your engine idling.
Many thanks, no better way to start the morning!

That reeks of ... the stuff they want to take away from men.. Testosterone! Sweet ,gotta love the NSS class!

She sounds ''NASTY'', in the best way possible...

what intake is that ?
turning my head to the side :poke: it was hard to make out

good luck

sorry to hear about the health issues & the pending knee surgery
I hope all goes well & :drinks: to a full & speedy recovery

I always thought a loping race-car cam idling over 1000 RPMs sounded like a badass train engine ready to tear a town down. The anticipation of action is addictive. :steering:

Get out there and get on it!
Best wishes health wise.
Engine sounds amazing. The fender shake is great.

Thanks. Got covid-pneumonia in January [almost bit it], knee, back, rt shoulder, and left hip are always in pain, and my Father passed in March.
Replaced knee rebuild, next week. Yea!!!....awesome year so far. I did get another project though. Sorry guys...it's an A-body, for my Ritter block/small-block engine, and ATI Turbo-400. Meet "Krusty".

This one ain't gettin any bodywork done.

Kally car. Already has a moly cage and caltracs. Off to the chassis shop, for some mods [moving and adding bars]....

We took the windshield out today. It's the original factory piece, with no cracks or bruises.

Mercy, that's sweet...

I have to say, because of those of us who say YES to keeping that A body looking exactly like it does, I was jealous of a buy a friend made on a 70 Roadrunner. 440 with a 6bbl and a 4 speed, not a V-Code, originally a 383 car, BEAUTIFULLY patina highlighted B5 Blue. I would have left it JUST LIKE that, maybe clearcoated the finish to lock it in time, and built a KILLER sleeper that eventually would have been a money making LEGEND.

I'm sick of all the babysitting with my "jewelry" cars. Plus, Krusty is gonna run like felon...
