#40 Pete Hamilton Superbird build

Now I get the fun of squaring and leveling quarters and tail panel with no inner support. I have to build all of the structure to the panels after they are installed.

Been working on the interior while I'm waiting for the rear cross member. Not looking forward to aligning up quarters and tail panel without having any inner structure.

I have the rear all screwed together. With a little more fitment issues fixed we can start welding.

I got driver side trunk extension tied in to the nascar trunk pan.

The trunk floor is done. Pieces from everything. Roadrunner extensions some left over Nascar floor and the stuff I made. Getting the wheel wells to follow the body lines is a lot more work than I thought.

Trying to make the rear window plug. Getting closer to making it fit. I bead rolled the flange for window, rolled outer edges and now careful trimming.

I just found this thread today, great work! I love the rear racing seat idea for the kids. This car will be alot of fun to drive!

I just found this thread as well. Your work is amazing! I am impressed with that window plug. Could you explain how you have the headlight buckets set up?
Keep the updates and photos coming, you have fans watching.
