I am the wife of 74Charger07Ram. He passed away 02/06/22 and I have his 74 charger that I am wanting to finish. So, I'll be asking a few questions, etc. Please don't be mad for a few stupid questions. Thanks

He always loved this board and would check it nightly.

Welcome and so sorry for your loss.

Truly sorry for your loss. Lots of people here to help you with your build. We also really like pictures along the way. I have a soft spot for 3rd gen Chargers.

My deepest sympathy and God bless! There are no stupid questions. So, ask away.

Welcome from San Angelo. So sorry about your loss!!! We are glad to see you taking up the torch.

I've been restoring my '74 for six year now. Probably have another year to go. My son lives up your way so you just might see my Triple Black SE Brougham passing through one day...

When you have questions, jump right in and ask away. There are a BUNCH of really knowledgeable folks on this forum. I thought I was among them until I joined. How quickly one realizes just how little they know. Seriously, we'll do what we can to help out. OH, and as said earlier; photos sure help sometimes.

Thanks y'all for the warm welcome. I'm still fumbling around the shop. The engine (318) and tranny have been redone and ready to go in when it's time. As you can see by the avatar photo (I really need to find a better one), that the body work has all been done. The interior is what he was working on last before he started the whole house remodel, which is still in progress. The carpet is in, the dash and console are in, the headliner is in, steering wheel and column in, all glass in, the upholstery/covers were ordered and will arrive in August. I don't recall where he ordered them from, but I think Legendary(?). We have parts in the shop and in the attic. Anyway, one of his local car guys has offered to help out too. We both know that we aren't quite the perfectionist that my husband was. But, I will get it as close to perfect as I possibly can. It will definitely be a labor of love and I know that it won't be done overnight. Thanks again for the warm welcome and condolences. Mopar Or No Car...right?

Oh goodness yes! I am quite aware of how knowledgeable you folks are. Whenever he got stumped as to why something was doing what it shouldn't be doing, he'd come here. If/when you do pass through, give me a holler. I'd love to see the car. There's an older gentleman around here that has a gorgeous '68 Charger R/T. At least I believe that it's a '68. I was a GM gal when my husband and I married. I've since come over to the dark side :) My first was an '09 Ram with a hemi and now I have a '19 Durango with a hemi.

Deeply sorry for your loss. I'm just finishing up a 74 Charger and have another waiting to go into my shop. I've asked many questions here and also provided some insight as I've gone along. Ask any questions.

So sorry to hear about the passing of your husband. These cars end up becoming so much more than 'just a car'. I'm sure there will be a lot of sentimental feelings tied up in your car, and it will make it all the more special.

We are glad to help so please ask away!

Welcome to the site and sorry for your loss. I think my wife didn't want to deal with everything I have so she took what was good (the $$$) while the gettin was good and left. :)
