Imagine the effort in building this(these?)

Stretch vehicles normally have vinyl to cover roof seams - this one doesn't

I'd love to look at the suspension.

Would have also been neat to watch this thing being built!

PS Look back at the hearse's, lemo's and similar vehicles built in the 50's no vinyl covering the seams - interesting!!
 
When I was a kid in the 1960s, the local taxi company had a 1965 Pontiac Catalina airport limo in this configuration, also without a vinyl top. Always wondered how they did the stretch, with no visible evidence of the welding.
 
I saw a blue '67 New Yorker airport car at Carlisle a couple years back.
