Any of you Fabricators out there ever make an adaptable fixture for an engine hoist to lower a transmission out from under the car while on the lift?

We used this cable reel and a tire on the big diesel.
Then just moved the truck using the lift.
My son is really nimble otherwise it would have been tough for myself.

I have to ask, if you have a hoist why not just get a trans jack?

Running out of room in the shop. And BRANDON is eating up my Entertainment Fuel budget! Beans and weenies on the table, to keep my Carbon Footprint what it was. But.......Your idea certainly is under consideration.
