I am running into dead ends everywhere I turn on this here interwebs - hoping to help a friend with his Fury fender tag decode.

Does anyone have a guide I can link to for 62?

Posting pictures is beyond my expertise - hoping to find a link

Your best bet is to find someone to download the picture of the fender tag for you. Also Jot down the first four digits of the VIN. There is a lot more knowledge on this site than on the online decoders.

I have two books that have numbers from all American made cars from the 60’s to the 80’s. Here are a few pictures of 1962 Plymouth numbers. Hope they help.

If your VIN starts with 3321, then this info should be accurate. 1030 is Oct. 30th scheduled production date. 0199 along with the 1030 is the shipping order number. 332 is a V/8 Plymouth Fury two door hardtop. BB is black paint colour. 245 is red bench seat interior( I think). 321 is 318 four barrel with auto trans, and AM radio. 5 is heater with defroster. 3 is backup lights. 2 is left side remote mirror. 2 is sold car( someone ordered it). The 12 and 133 have nothing to do with your car's options. 12 is the gate number the unibody was built in, and 133 is a sequence number. There might be some mistakes, but it should be close to the truth.

Yes, the VIN starts with 3321. I appreciate your help
