I had the front parking light buckets on my 66 rechromed and part of the process involves cutting out the light sockets and wire lead since they get pretty much destroyed in the chroming process. Some of the members said Mike at B/E&A has the equipment to press in replacement leads and sockets so I sent mine to him when I got them out of the plating shop. Mike pressed new sockets in and had them back to my door step in 5 days after I mailed them and that was finally the last trim piece to bolt back on my car.

The only thing I ran into is that his leads are for a later year Mopars and had the dual bullet connectors. But I had a bunch of Packard terminals and the terminal plugs off my old wiring harness so that was an easy fix.

Anyone else needing to rechrome old light buckets or side marker housings, he can can fix you up - a good guy.

reasonable prices?

I think so - $70 to provide and install the sockets, test them and 2-day shipping back. The chrome shop had some issues getting a good plating coverage on the inside of the buckets and they were literally the last 2 pieces to get done and back on the car. The fact he got them Thursday, installed the sockets and return shipped them the same day and I had them Saturday and on the car Sunday was worth a lot to me.

were is he located?

Mike is awesome, you'll have no regrets dealing with him.

Mike has been at the top of my preferred vendor list since the first time I used him... None better ....
