Curious, if I'm the only one who thinks maybe a "Fuel tank Sending unit" might just be junk?

yes they are pretty much junk. The better option is to have the original sending unit rebuilt
 
yes so many people have complained about that they are junk. And so are the after market sending unit lock rings.

Wow... Hate to say, but at least it's not just me it seems.
Wonder who makes/Sells a QUALITY unit? One that should Meet or Exceed the OEM unit. Maybe last 5/10 years?

Been going on for years AFAIK - and nobody to date has stepped up to offer a decent quality one.
