I was thinking from a swap meet aspect. Guys always sell cams they have no idea of the true specs. Would be easy to identify. An empty block, dial indicator, and degree wheel are your friend. Or just a dial caliper even.
You really do need to check them. A cam from Gold(E)-bay, the highly ranked seller promoted it as a "slightly used" P4120235 (.484" lift) cam.I was thinking from a swap meet aspect. Guys always sell cams they have no idea of the true specs. Would be easy to identify.
Shouldn't you multiply that number by 1.5 or 1.6 depending on your rockers? .2975 measured lift isn't total lift. Would have been around .446 with stock rockers. You really do need to check them. On vee blocks it indicated it at............. .2975"
