I'm lucky if i need to mow my lawn before June, and then usually only half a dozen times before winter sets in again....

I looked at Ferris and Big Dog before buying my Spartan. Ferris was way nice, but that suspension comes at a premium. I'll settle for my aiir-ride seat. It's soooo nice!

The older my *** gets, the more comfort it demands. At the entreme is my nearly. 60-yo Ford 4000 Diesel tractor. It has that steel pan seat with a sorta-cushony cushion on it. That is what I mow the pasture and grade the driveway with. It'll rattle your fillings!

after riding a pro R all winter my *** is going to think its on a rolls royce when I get the tractor out!

@FU64RY Your place looks like a good spot for a FBBO meet/greet/car show! :poke:

Actually, I'm thankful for this thread. This reminding me to get gas for the mower today!

4/15/22–Better-half said she’s going to do the backyard, did the whole blasted thing. Too wet for the tractor; so, I grabbed a beer!!

Waiting for my pre built 12’ X 24’ Loft Wood Shed to show up this week , so I can actually get everything grass related out of my garage

Problem is , snow tomorrow, yes I said snow

Haven’t even looked at both riders yet , let alone mowing da grass - However a lot of raking and burning got done in the cold this past month

First cut of the year and it's been hot/dry enough the past week or more that I got to use the tractor vs the riding mower like most Springs. Even got some ice for my drink while cutting!!! 31C and a passing thunderstorm...

Around here it went from winter, to cold and raining every other day, to hot and humid. I finally got a chance to mow my lawn and do some other yard work on Tuesday, it was hot and humid. By the time I was done I was sweatin' like a mustang owner leaving a car show.

Nice view of the rent house lawn across the street from my house. I guess their first mow will be sometime in June.

I cut mine every 3 days to get the Bermuda grass to spread and fill in the bare spots.

I'm doing no mow May, only because grass seed is stupid expensive so I'm letting mine seed out, I live in sand so it's a pain in the *** anywho.

that rental looks like it has a big thermostat on the front! I finally had to cut mine, the grass wasn't overly long but the dandelions were making it look unkempt! love it when I can cut an acre and only empty the bagger twice!
It's been dry here for weeks, not the norm for this time of year! I have to go pickup 25bags of dowflake for the roads at the club it's pretty bad for dust already!

Hybrid grasses do not reproduce from seed. So, if your lawn was sod to begin with the seeds will not be viable and produce more grass.
