B-Bodies friendlier than A-Bodies?

Au contraire, I find your comments comically entertaining, and your sense of self-relevancy hilarious.
You assume the “Self Relevancy part.
If you truly entertained, good.
dude........ it was a Goldilocks / 3 bears joke, and you red X'd me, then cried about it....... and we are the thin skinned ones?

Holy Butthurt Batman! eat a snickers
Take your own advice and stop assuming. Yea I red X’ed the comment because I do not agree. Cry about it, LMAO! Your reply is proof of what I said, thank you.
Get some Begay for your butt.
:bananadance:
You get red X’ed and cried about it. LMFAOROTF!!!!!
and your E body cuda is just a heavy Camaro wannabe ....... take that! :carrot:

Love it! Now that’s a sense of humor!:bananaweed:
There are those that think life is measured by what car you have and how many. Many bought them out of need when they were cheap and couldn't afford to buy side marker for one now!! Talk about delusion of grandeur.
And that’s what I normally get handed to me in spades.

I have bean a member at FABO for over sixteen years, after jumping ship they still love me even tho i have a B car now.great bunch of guy and gales there.

I haven't made a comment or post on FABO since last October, but yet I was on given a vacation during the month of March, What's up with the Narcissist person/Mod that did that??

Who cares? If you don't mind....it don't matter.

did you buy it ?

looks to be a decent car,
sort of the going price now
not sure I'd believe some of the #'s as advertised
but not bad overall

No i have two money pits now i can’t keep up with:lol: I agree it is a decent looking ride though.

I waste :bananadance: most of my forum time here...

best forum I've ever belonged too

I do browse & belong/membership to, a couple of other forums
I don't go to FBAO much, usually from a link here
or to check out classified

I see a lot of the same names from here too

this site is very active,
we have some really knowledgeable, mostly friendly
& helpful members
we have a few that aren't & do **** I don't care for (or Ignore)
that seem to think they are the smartest in the room (forum)
have to have the last word &/or want to "correct" people constantly
that **** gets old, say your piece & move on
especially when it's has nothing to do with the subject at hand
BUT;
lately not much discourse
a few bad apples were really stirring the pot, most are gone
usually posting '****/spin' in a forum where it doesn't belong
then whining & complaining about it, when caught

it's a great place here,
I've made quite a few 'good friends'
I maybe wouldn't have ever met otherwise

I believe A-bodies make excellent drag race platform. Especially for those new to Mopar performance. Lighter and certainly less expensive. Thus making them the most bang for the buck performance build one could pursue in a Mopar arena in my opinion. E-bodies are too expensive. And frankly are not the most comfortable ride. Leaving B-bodies ideal for Street performance. Better build quality. As well as sharpest body lines in my opinion.

I've seen my Chevy friends looking at my B-body with their lustful eyes. Lol. I tease them by saying. "Mopar B-bodies are like the hot chick you were too scared to ask out." So you settled for a Nova.

A body folks, or any other car sites, even on their worst day have nothing on the corvette folks.

Geez....all this drama, now days. I remember back in the 70's and 80's, when all the mopar guys were cool, and only hated on brand-X ****. Now, everybody is jealous and petty about anything and everything. That's why I don't belong to clubs and organizations. I like lots of people....dislike many more, now.

...and I don't give a rat's-***. I enjoy my life [always have], and never cared about what people think of me.
I’m sorry I took a while to respond to this post of your of which I entirely agree with. Threads like this just cause discord and division.

I own a B body, I often hear, “Oh, sorry to hear that, what car again? Oh! Wrong year and model. It’s just really not a cool car, really, just a disco era POS wanna be.

REALLY? Well OK then, let me help you out, turn 90*’s and take 25 giant steps, then, Keep on going so your eyes don’t hurt at the site of my ‘79 Magnum. What, it’s a rusty POS? Thanks, donations accepted.

I take my Cuda out. OH! Your one of THOOOOOOOSSSSE guys! Your an arrogant ****!
(Sorry, who are you?)
Also get, sorry to see you have the wrong/worthless year. (‘73)
Sucks being you.
You have that dig motor in there… it’s a worthless car
(Really!)

I take my Duster out.
I see you like cheap POS cars.
Wish you had a real MoPar like my (insert B-C or other body)
Hey nice Duster…. Did t have much money for a nice car huh?
That’s all you can afford?

Yea, these are comments I get from fellow MoPar owners and there not delivered or ment to be humorous. Even when I try to make light of it, there comments just get more venomous and spiteful on purpose.

As far as I can tell, there’s some really demented minded people out there. I really don’t give a rats *** what you think about me, my cars, what there state of being is, what you drive and how restored it is or how much faster it is than mine.

Cool people, I mean really cool people don’t even bring this up much less even think about insulting another no matter what they drive by what corp.

But I see a few people here sure got on the insult wagon right quick.

Good job fellas! The MoPar Community is being divided even further. Nothing like helping destroy the hobby and the MoPar camp quicker and easier than what Chevy and Ford could never do on there best days of hatred against us. You have helped them out with ease.

With brothers like you, who the duck needs enemies.

Same on F body. I listed a Volare there a while back. They asked stupid questions like when was the last time the valve seals were changed, what does the license plate mean. etc. I removed the ad after a few days.

I joined there to sell some Nos F-body parts I had this past winter. One guy was a complete *** wipe with an Nos complete steering wheel I had.. I won't list another part there and probably will throw that **** away before dealing with one of them again...
Nothing beats FBBO!

That magnum might not have "the look" that everybody likes but in my opinion you wont find a better mopar for a daily driver. My cordoba handles better than any old mopar ive ever owned. Takes a bit of work to get that smog era motor movin, but once you do those cars are real nice.

I posted this car for sale on E-bodies about 2 hours ago. And not even a thanks. I think it's decent and a fair ask price? (Assuming inspection verification that the body is as nice as shown.) It needs work. But a '70 Challenger is an ebody wet dream. '340 4-speed asking $26k? I believe is not insulting for a runner and driver.

But just crickets over there. Lol.

That’s a slow site.
But what I find weird is the complaint “I didn’t even get a thanks.” In the 2 hours ago that you posted it.
Pretty darn petty.

Thanks. I had a ‘79 Cordoba and this is my second ‘79 Magnum. Love the ride, very comfortable w/good handling. It does take some effort to get the smog gear out. Even when it’s out and has substitute parts, they still are lame. It’s the era that beats them down like dogs. Even the ‘78-400 I had in there was crappy. The ‘00-5.9 on the other hand is not to shabby with headers and a intake, carb. I added a chrome box ignition.
Needs a cam…..

Sorry if you think this thread causes discord and division - it wasn't the intention. I'd been thinking about it for awhile, every time I ventured onto A Bodies there was petty arguing, the back and forth variety that seems to never end, whereas over here the waters were somewhat calmer. This hasn't always been the case though, in the time I've been here on B Bodies I've noticed the members improving in their manners and the way they generally interact with each other. More harmonious. It was just an observation. Maybe it's just a few bad eggs over there, I'm not sure. Perhaps all the bad eggs that were over here have been banned haha.
As for looking down on other people and their cars - that's something I personally would never do. I don't have a desirable Mopar by US standards, but here in Australia it's almost universally liked. I'm in a position now where I could buy pretty much any Mopar I wanted (apart from the million dollar stuff), but I drive what I drive by choice, with its 20 foot paint job, so I don't worry about it getting scratched, and I can gain satisfaction by improving it, rather than watching a perfect car slowly deteriorate.
Haters are always gonna hate, it takes the bigger man to ignore them and enjoy himself, without feeling too much resentment toward them.

So if I get a A-body ! I’m I xcomunicato ?

I never intended to cause discord or division sez the OP...

FBBO is the best Mopar forum I've ever participated in, hands down.
Being old-school, I could name a few older Mopar sites than this one that
I recall fondly, but they're mostly all gone now (or their owners wound up
destroying the damn things, stupidly...).
Do we have some socially unacceptable behavior here occasionally?
Sure, anything readily accessible to the public in this day and age will...
When that happens, some choose to engage and fire back; others acknowledge
and move on, just like in "real life".
I challenge anyone to find a better bunch of common-goal folks gathered anywhere
in this hobby who are more cordial and helpful, more encouraging to others than
the bunch right here, though.

I'm a member of the C-body site as well but rarely do anything there - I just like reading
posts on it (and in the back of my mind, keep a weary eye out for a '68 Monaco wagon
like the one our family had when I was a kid).
Those folks seem friendly enough, though and supportive of one another...

E-body site? Dunno, only been there a time or two - seemed quiet.

A-body site? Seemed a few long-time members w/strong personalities sort of rule
the roost a bit, but here's something I find quite telling about members there:
Some of them came to bat here to help when I ran the charity auction for Leanna.
Says a lot, least to me....

Now, what the actual point of trying to compare one site against another is, well...
I have no idea what productively positive results could occur from doing so (it's
subjective as hell to even try)??
Besides, you're already at the best one of all of them right here! :luvplace:

A bodies make good race cars. Lot of lifers over there with intolerance, but fun to watch.
B bodies are the best drivers, yes even all the way to the end of the line. (You guys seem okay.)
E bodies are a better car when I was 20 something instead of 50 something, but I have had it since I was a teenager, I'm keeping it. Crickets on that site.
C bodies I'm still trying to find the right one at the right time. I have posted there a lot, have some good friends over there. The last election, and the pandemic got some people in the wrong mindset and they got themselves booted. Its been different there since, so I'm over here bothering you guys more now.

@66 Sat - 100%. I know it’s not the threads intention it’s members careless callus snubbing of other MoPar brothers for what they drive and regulating the person to a label because of it.
