Ordered a complete interior today from Legendary

I have never bought from them before to have to wait a year to get the interior is crazy. I guess the craftsmanship must be outstanding. I'll just go to a local guy they wait can't be that long.

Local guys don’t have the correct grain and colors. Plus they are not set up to make door panels and things. They can cover them for sure but they won’t be correct.

I've gotten 3 full sets from them over the years...the last being on the MN GOLD car. 67 Coronet convertible. Everything they sent was spot on and high quality. They are struggling to get materials right now, hence the delays....but few folks do it better and defiantly not cheaper......you'll be very pleased with the covers.

Also with the way thigs are these days they are making some stuff order. Having 1970 GTX/ Sport Satellite door panels in all the colors being in stock? Then all the Satellite/RR panels. Then all the 69's. Etc. Etc.
Nope, not any more. They did have the headline and carpet in stock though.

Yeah, the delays are a little maddening. I ordered white seat covers and door panels back in August. March 23rd, still not here. Supposedly due to ship sometime this week. If you are still this backlogged and it is not due to materials (would be nice to know if it was), I would think you could hire some more folks. For what it cost me I was tempted to take a course at my local technical college and just learn to do it myself. It would probably be near the same price in the long run. And then I could start doing it for folks here and retire from my day job. :)
I ordered seat covers, carpeting, and other stuff from Legendary last July at Carlisle. Some stuff came quickly; the seat covers arrived last and in late March.

Ordered mine Thursday. I was told that the delay isn't anything other than the massive influx of work coming in. They are fully staffed and not much material shortage. They are simply swamped with work.

I get it, when you're good at what ya do, everyone wants in in it.

Still excited to wait knowing I'm in the queue!

So my interior that I ordered in August finally came in today. Everything looks perfect. I'm glad that's the case because I would have stressed if it was going to be another 8 months if something had to be fixed.

I've heard that Legendary is the best, but I just can't believe how much it costs to do the interior... $1250 for a pair of bucket seat skins? That's just brutal.

Does the bowtie crowd pay this much?
