I decided to tackle the steering coupler today and got everything back together. Posting some pictures for anyone here to reference if needed. Had the typical broken spring inside and of coarse the shoes from the rebuild kit were drilled to small which was expected.

Cleaned out the case and put fresh grease in. Assembled the shoes and new spring making sure they’re properly oriented in the case.

Reinstalled on the car and secured the spring clip to keep everything tucked in until the next time.
 Glad this is done. I ordered some seats from jegs that should be here by next weekend.
