question about 1962 Dodge 361 HP engine

I just discovered that Dodge produced a HP 361 engine in 1962 that had dual quads and was rated at 310HP. Since the big news in 1962 was the 413 ramcharger, I assume this was an engine designed for lower classes of drag racing. Does anyone know what carburetors were used on the engine? Did it come with the dual football air cleaners? Anybody got pictures of the engine as it came from the factory?
 
The inline 2×4 bll. option was a dealer install. The 305 hp 361 was fitted with the manifold and two carbs making it a 310 hp engine. The manifold and carbs came from the manufacturer in the trunk to be installed by the dealer. The 383 was also an option and the inline 2x4 bll could be ordered in the same fashion along with the 413 with a inline 2x4 bll. And of course the 413 Cross Ram. They did use the oval air cleaners on the inline carbs. Which carbs I don't remember off the top of my head but I believe they were two 500 cfms.

I can't say for certain, but I'd imagine they'd be the same carbs used on inline dual quad 413 on Chrysler 300H in 1962 (and even Ford 289). Carter AFB 3258S and 3259S. Dual football air cleaners for sure.
 
Here is the setup I had on my 1964 Polara 500 with 426 Street Wedge. A Chevvie friend gifted me the carbs because they were on an intake he needed for his 1957 Corvette build. They were the 3258S and 3259S as used on 1962 Chrysler 300H. Since the Chrysler used linkage to push the throttle blades open from under the pivot point, instead of pulling them open by cable as a B-body does, I had to adapt a Dodge carb bracket to the primary carb to make it work. These were about 500 cfm carbs. I found a guy that reproduced the "football" air cleaners in fiberglass. I had a 1970 "Hustle Stuff" (predecessor to Direct Connection) catalogue that still listed this setup as a parts department hop up option.
A 1962 issue of Car Life did a drive test of a Dart 440 hardtop with the rarely-seen 385 hp. 413, equipped with inline 2 X4, hooked to a floor-shifted 3-speed manual trans.

Yep, My brother bought a 62 Sport Fury convert 361 2-4 bbl. This was around 1966. Original owner said he bought the dealer install option when he ordered the car.
 
They are likely the same carbs. These carbs each featured a weighted air door above the secondary blades that served the same function as the sprung air door on the AVS and Thermoquad. These secondary air doors reacted to the amount of air that the engine could actually pump. Tuners of the day would remove weight from these assemblies to quicken secondary response as desired. This aided transition to W.O.T., and allowed the carb to be used on a variety of engine sizes. Any listing I have seen for this era of 2 X 4 inline setups for 361, 383, or 413 have specified only the 3258s and 3259S AFB's.

The only relevant reference is in #2 referring to 1962 Plymouth/Dodge ~ 383/343 HP 'Dual-Quad'
