That blind squirrel fell out of the walnut tree and landed on his head. Must have because 'ocdart' ended up with 21.5 bonus points to grab the 2022 Circle K NHRA Four-Wide Nationals Top Qualifier title with picks of the #1 qualifier in Top Fuel, #3 qualifier in Pro Stock Motorcycle and the #4 qualifier in Funny Car.
Both 'Budnicks' (FBBO) and 'Nick2317' (FBBO) were right behind in the #2 qualifier spot with 21.0 bonus points each.
More great picks!

We have 14 players this week and 13 different driver combos made up of:
* 5 different Top Fuel drivers. 1 Quad has two picks: #7 qualifier Brittany Force (7 picks) and #15 qualifier Tony Schumacher (1 pick).
* 5 different Funny Car drivers. 1 Quad has two picks: #4 qualifier Robert Hight (2 picks) and #12 qualifier Tim Wilkerson (1 pick).
* 5 different Pro Stock Motorcycle drivers. 1 Quad has two picks: #1 qualifier Angelle Sampey (1 pick) and #9 qualifier Matt Smith (6 picks).

Good luck all!

Yea ha, a few qualifying points...

now I need some round wins :poke:

Steve Torrence going out 1st rd was a tough one
(after he was a 4 wide winner the 4 (? 5) past seasons)

Stoffer & Capps did relatively well

lots of young bucks, independents & low bucks did well too

a different year in NHRA for sure

I'm not doing much either... :BangHead:

sucks in the basement

It was great seeing John force running like he did ! Like him or not he is one of the best !

I went 2/3 with winners. I bet I'm still the anchor. LOL

Here's how they lined up for the finals in funny car and top fuel.

Here's your Tuesday before the event reminder to post your picks for the 2022 Virginia NHRA Nationals.
Pro qualifying starts Friday, May 13, at 7:15PM EDT (4:15PM PDT)!
The nhra.com website currently shows the following number of entries:
15 Top Fuel
16 Funny Car
16 Pro Stock Motorcycle

Pro Stock will not compete at this event.

Always check to confirm your picks are participating. You may also possibly find either new drivers or old favorites competing.

Post your picks if you haven't already.

I read that there will be exhibition runs of Top Fuel Motorcycle on both Friday and Saturday. These guys run in the mid-fives and over 265mph. I hope they get some television coverage!

Our Inland Mopars Car Club annual all-Mopar charity-benefit car show is Sunday. Results may be a bit late getting posted because I will be recording eliminations to watch either late Sunday or sometime Monday or Tuesday. Be patient.

In case you may still be researching drivers for the upcoming Virginia Nationals and see a new name on the Pro Stock Motorcycle entry list, Jianna Everisto is the recently married former Jianna Salinas.
