Yes, thinking about snow removal for next winter already. We used to contract it out but my long term contractor died and his son was useless. So we just bought a used skid steer with only 290 hours on it. $58,500 $CDN + tax. It included the plow with wings, snow tires, a bucket and pallet forks. 74 hp diesel.

It's not just cars in short supply. I wouldn't have been able to get a new one for the fall even if I wanted to.

Not quite a B Body :(

Might as well fork some pallets while you're not shoveling.

....all things considered sir, but that was a good deal indeed. I dig it. Looks like a solid unit.

The trouble I could get into with a rig like that! Congratulations, that is a beast of a toy!

Seriously Dave ?!?!?

Yep. Gotta plow somehow. I was typically spending $20,000 - $30,000 on snow removal and sanding/salting with the contractor depending on the winter. I also need to buy a sander and also put up a tarp shed to store the sand/salt. This is at the mobile home park that I own. We probably have a couple kilometers of roads.

It actually just occurred to me that this is for the MH park !!!

You must own a four season MH park? We've been tossing around the idea of getting a trailer in one. Where in Ontario are you?

Flamborough. Yes it is a year round community. It is very much a "bubba" park. Not upscale at all. Having said that the people there are terrific.

"Trailer" is a bit of a misnomer. I had just installed a new home there and it weighed around 25,000 or 30,000 pounds.
