Hello everyone,
Greetings from Buffalo, NY. Recently I purchased this yellow submarine-sized 73 Charger which has been sitting in a yard for the better part of the last decade. The body is in OK condition (all things considering). Luckily any rain or snow that got into the car had a hole in the floor to drain itself out so the actual interior isn't bad. I picked up the car in early April where it didn't start at all and now the engine runs if you hook up the carburetor to a 5 gallon gas tank, so I figured I'd just replace the whole gas line and tank and then move on to the next project.
I already own a 70 Newport convertible (picture below) so eventually I'll have a car for nice days with the top down and a car for cloudy days with a hardtop.
This here is my Newport, which is a C body intruding on a B body forum but I hope e can let that slide this once (notice how my wife decided its a good place to store our summer outdoor seating cushions, since the back seat is the size of a sofa anyway). Pictures of this car have already been on FCBO so now I belong to 2 groups. Just have to get a challenger and I can complete the trifecta by joining FEBO!!
I hope everyone is doing well and I look forward to bombarding this forum with questions as they arise.
