G Day all, Just purchased a 65 dodge Coronet 440 and excited of getting it on the road. It has the original 315 poly engine with about 25-30 Thousand miles on rebuild. The Bad...it has not been started in about 30 yrs. Got plugs out and soaking with marvel mystey oil. Will post pic soon. Car people are the BEST!

Welcome from a fellow 65 Coronet owner on the west coast.

Welcome from Nebraska! Good luck with the revival. Lots of good help here.

Welcome form the Great White North of Canada!

Once you let it sit for a few days use a bar on the crank and gently tug on it and see if it will move. If it moves then change the oil with a new filter and then prime the oil system to get all the bearings and system lubed up. Let it sit for another couple days and then try to fire it up.

Good luck and maybe start a thread about you getting it back to life and on the road.
