Thanks Hemi! I looked at photos online and did not make out the shape/ offset.It’s supposed to be that way. The block has a bank to bank offset.
It's a pretty quick job, I hit it with a cutoff wheel as far down as I can get it then grind/flap it the rest of the way. It's a little messy but easy.To the grinder it goes then. Thanks very much for the advice.
Yes, put a little smear of your favorite sealer along the beveled edge of the plate where it meets the batwing.With the AR Engineering plate , he recommends using his bat wings for sealing the intake manifold
Don’t you still have to seal or rtv a bead of silicone on the heads where the plate , bat wings meet the valley plate ?

Yes, one head has to come off, and (I Believe) the other needs to be loosened. I just purchased this 2pc valley plate from mancini racing that goes on without the need to remove or loosed the heads.Does one of the heads have to be off to put this valley plate on?
