Take the time to spend some time, or remember your mother today.

Taking my wife and mother, and kids out for breakfast today.

I know some of us no longer have our mothers around.....so please take a few moments to remember those good times. :)

To all you single dads happy mom's dad.

Happy Mother's Day to mine.. gone 13 years now. I've still got her Dubro shown, that she bought from Sears/Robuck when she was 16 in 1942!

Yes of course - My mom has been gone for around 15 yrs now. To this very day I think of her often and get the real urge to call her for one of our long conversations. Then of course I realize I can’t. We had a family of 11 with 9 kids. Mother’s Day was always celebrated as it should be. My mother not really a drinker would put down a few Black Russians and really enjoy the celebration. Nothing was more important to her than family. She was the nucleus and the strength that held it together.

Miss you mom and hope one day we can all be reconnected in Heaven.

Very nice, kiwi!

Our daughter flew in from CO on Thursday evening to spend a long weekend with us for Mothers Day. The 2 of us kept it a surprise for the past 5 weeks after she bought her ticket. That was tough! I almost let it slip a couple of times (ala Michael Scott) - LOL. I spun an intersesting web of lies to get the Mrs. to go along with me on the 75 minute ride to the Green Bay airport to pick her up, but it worked. She was surprised!

Happy Mothers Day to all of the mothers in your lives, and any who happen to be on our site.

Awesome job....those are the best surprises.

We are lucky to have our mom still kicking butt and taking names at 86.
She lives in her own home , we all keep a close ck. on her.
She will be here for lunch tomarrow.

My mom will be 80 this year and refuses to give up her position as my office manager. She scolds me when I suggest we find her some help, accusing me of trying to "push her out"!
I have been assured that when she is ready she will let me know. Thanks Mom, I love you and don't see how I could be blessed more.

Happy Mother's Day.

I visited Mom at the nursing home today. Mom and I had breakfast, spent time outdoors in the sunshine and fresh air and admired the flowers near the patio. We met some nice folks, another mother and her caring son. We had a nice talk for a while back in her room then had lunch. It was a great day to be alive.

Mom has few Mother's Days left. Enjoy time with your Mom while you can.

Here's a selfie of Mom and me on the patio.
