Back Surgery - Mayo Clinic

Be sure not to wear anything pointing at MAGA or anything else thats not Woke.

Good luck with it.
As said earlier, do the therapy, no cheating, and give it time to heal. No acrobatics or hero moves or you spoil the whole thing.

My wife is scheduled for surgery on the 17th here at the Phoenix Mayo Hospital. Impressed with the surgeon.

Hopefully, all goes well & 'the repairs', all take as planned

Good Luck, good health & a speedy full recovery

Prayer goes out to you, Rick.....

God speed!!

Good luck! Best wishes!!

Definitely do the therapy and everything the Doc tells you too! You’ll appreciate that in the long run!

I’m from up there. Personally haven’t had any work done at the Mayo but have plenty of friends and family that have. They’ve saved and extended the lives of a bunch in my circle. When my time comes for something big I would go nowhere else. The world’s wealthiest and most influential people go there. Relax and let them do their thing, then you do yours. You’ll be back on the trampoline in no time.
God Bless

God bless you and as said before fallow all the directions from the physical therapist.

Some of the best care you can get at mayo along with the spine center.

Pretty nerve wracking waiting for Rick to check back in. Hope all went well.

I have been most fortunate to escape back issues. But plenty of friends that did not. It can, as is, debilitating. Good fortunes in your endeavor for better health.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone!! All went well. So far, so good. The first three days were rough but I'm getting better now.

I had some lower back surgery a few months ago -fairly simple, no hardware involved and about a 2 to 2-1/2” incision. I was not expecting the level of pain any movement or exertion brought on for the first 3-4 days. More than I expected and I’ve had a couple of surgery’s over the years. I guess all the interior sutures pull and strain on the slightest movement involving those muscles, ligaments, tissue, whatever. But after 4 or 5 days or, so I realized a steady decrease every day until it was mostly gone in about 3 weeks.

Good luck with your recovery and hope you get some relief.
