The other day I was driving my 71 and put the heater on, and it quit and most of the gauges and the blinkers went out with it. I just checked the fuse box and non of them appear to be blown. What do you guys think?

Pull the blower motor and check the Amp draw... bearings are probably dragging. Look at the speed control resistor too. Locate the fuse link (s) and check for an open one.
A quick look over at MyMopar.com to locate your specific wiring diagram may also help.

So today I pulled a few fuses none were blown. I just kinda wiggled a lot of the connectors under the dash. I went under the hood pulled the fuseable link apart and inspected it . All looked good. Started it up and all the gauges came to life . wow! I then tried the turn signals and they worked , then the horn, nope no horn , oh well that was enough to go on. Took her out for a run and was about 4 miles into it and tried the horn again. Beep Beep! it started to work again. lol these frickin old cars. I'm too scared to try the heater fan again.

As mentioned, check bulkhead with detail and attention. It's its time, just like the prostatic test!

Perhaps you meant to say: Prostate Specific Antigen or P.S.A. test.....or stick with Mopar ammeters that burst into flames or quoits....where you get points for being close.....
