Any of you have a z grill smoker. I can't get mine to smoke. I've cleaned it as recommended by the factory. Any help would be appreciated.

Mine works fine, is it new? There's a procedure for the first light up.

Shoot sorry, I see you said cleaned it. I'd call them, easy to work with. Did you leave the plates off to see if it's feeding? Might have gummed up the auger

Was it made by Z Germans?

Nothing left in the auger I completely disassembled and cleaned. Damn thing never has smoked since new.

Is the pot getting hot? I'd call em, they were good to deal with when I had a crooked door, shipped me 2 the next day.

Yes, to hot apparently. When set it on smoke it doesn't smolder like it's supposed to. It just burns up.

It's probably a faulty switch setting. They have a 5 year warranty. I use pitboss in mine and it works fine, not alot of smoke so I also add a smoke tube. smoke-tube.jpg
