The $449.00 charge shown is the minimum.....I guarantee that ticket in california is about ten times that.... not counting the insurance hit.

My '70 Road Runner would have come pretty close to that. I wasn't fully tapped out while doing 155mph.I am sure that quite a few folks here had cars that could approach that number back in the day. Hell, I had my 70 Challenger RT 383 4speed with 3.23's out back up to 135 with a little left to go. I had a witness in the car too. I asked him if he wanted me to put it all the way to the floor & he said naaaaa, that scared me enough.
I'm sure they do.....I had my work van showing 130+ (kph) which is about 80 mph....so yes they show triple digits. Will GPS show triple digits?
Don’t know your tire size, but I would guess you might have been about 6000 rpm.I am sure that quite a few folks here had cars that could approach that number back in the day. I asked him if he wanted me to put it all the way to the floor & he said naaaaa, that scared me enough. Hell, I had my 1970 Honda CB 750 up to 130 as well. Don't get me wrong, there was not another car in sight on route 80 when it first opened up!
