Digi-Tails Tail Lights

Installed some on Mikes '69 Coronet. They are pretty cool. Just have to watch / retain the wiring plug at the board(s)

REALLY COOL... being myself a stockish guy I think I could think on this for my own car. that would be a huge change on my philosophy LOL.

I'm missing how tail lights on look then hit the brakes/turnings/hazzards to check the light intensity difference

Sorry I forgot to video the running lights.
Like the brake lights only a lot more dim

The best part about the lights is the car still
looks totally stock!

Sure! Did you splice wires? I was used old bulb sockets as conection to the led board using the existant tail light sockets as a plug outlet. Just to don't touch the original harness.

I'm not fan of the leds on our cars ( yet ) because bulb housings are not designed to radiate the led light like incandescents which it was the original design (being parabolic), so they tipically get huge hot spots of lights and really dimmed light all around. Fortunatelly good ideas are coming out to save this latelly.

There is a detail I like yet on the original design and is the lense reflection area which is supposed to not get lighted. Sure if this is changed, sequential functon will be lost.

LED’s are much easier to spot from behind when you brake. Hopefully it’s safer.

Led stop lights actually kill my eyes on every car I stop behind. Maybe I'm more sensible to this.

I did splice in the wires while leaving the
original harness intact using those pinch
connectors.
Here is what they look like underneath the lens

Hmm, I missed this the first few posts, they look great. so....details. Where did you get them etc.?

Wiring requires a constant power feed, and each light need to be connected to both right and left turn signals so it knows the difference between braking and turn signal.

Constant feed, huh. I am useless with wiring, please explain.
I am considering doing this for my 67 and 73.

I tapped the constant power from
the trunk light wire.

Being they are sequentials, is only posible to make them for 73/74 and MAYBE standards and SE 72s

The challenger ones will be going on that car once I start on it. Thanks for sharing, they look great. A touch of modern on a classic
