What's the best lawn weed killer for beginners?

I use gasoline on beginners.....and then sometimes throw on a match.

I have a neighbor that is lacking in lawn care. He scalps it even when we're in a dry spell but for some reason, it keeps on bouncing back. AND he sprays on windy days. DO NOT DO THIS!! In one area the kill zone went nearly 4 feet away from where he was wanting to kill and stopped within inches of my front lawn.

Weed be gone spray to start. A nitrile glove, then a cotton glove on your hand dipped in roundup for the hard stuff so you don't kill any grass. Turf builder plus halts early in the season, then a month later, in a few years it will be nice.

FYI, don't by Glyphosate products at big box stores. Most are watered down to a few percent Glyphosate. I buy High Yield Killz All 41% Glyphosate Concentrate.

So this year I have these everywhere, even my driveway, never had em before. What are they? How do I kill em?

2,4-D if they are where you don’t want to kill the grass, such as Weed-Be-Gone. Roundup where you want to kill everything.

2,4-D Amine
Apply in the fall before weeds go dormant, the suck the stuff down in the roots. They wont come back.
If your feeling a bit braver you can apply round-up when the weeds are green and the bermuda is dormant. Its a little scary for me but, thats how they kill fescue out of bermuda grass hay fields.

1/2 of Agent Orange is 2,4-d. No need to wash your hands before lunch

Every area of the country is different, types of grass , weeds ect.
Best bet is your local coop / elevator for advice.
They know their products and application ratios.
Most have chemicals down in size to 1 or 2 gal jugs.
Chain stores don't know crap and garden centers will over sell you.

I've been useing "Speed Zone " weed killer for a couple of years now, works great on my Northern type grass. I think they have a Southern type grass spray as well. You can buy it on line from Do my own.com and some other places. It's the only spray that i have found that actually kills clover with one application, i use it in a back pack sprayer and spot spray.

I sprayed the weeds with tenacity last week. They have grown pretty good since then, but are starting to turn a lighter shade of green.
Not sure how long it takes for the stuff to kill the weeds?

I couldn't give a rats *** about my lawn. What a waste of time.
There's times, especially when I want or need to be doing something else, usually work, but there's great value and wellbeing in "break" time, anyway I think of how FUTILE it is to cut grass. When I'm long gone, it will still be growing.
CONCRETE or ASPHALT come to mind as well, with some 5 gallon bucket size holes in it for the occasional potted plant...
