Cruised close in front of Britney Spears' home and I swear that I could hear her screaming at her kids.

Nice job, what is the green lumber called. Thanks

Rough Sawn Interlocking 4X6 Timbers... They stand above grade, but I gave my wife the spray gun and had her paint them anyway, just for a little added protection. Went to the local Lowes and picked up a couple of gallons of $60 exterior paint for $9.00 a can... unused customer returns that can't be resold.

@67 Mopar ...how are the beams attached to the concrete posts...I can't see any straps or other hardware?

The beams are not clipped to the Cement. The original building construction utilized primed & painted 4x6 timbers resting on the cement filled builders tubes as the main support, and it has been sitting there for at least 40 years. When I bought the place it had a Kubota in it. The floor joist are rough sawn 2x10's, 12" on center, with 4' spans between the supports, topped off with dual layers of 3/4" plywood... it's a farg'n tank.
The 2X10's also rest on the 4X6 timbers, so joist hangers are not necessary either.
I did use the modern Sill Foam between the Timbers and the Cement though.

My friend and I went to the OKC Gun Show Sunday. It was my first. I talked to a guy that makes fantastic holsters. He had a great story about Sylvester Stallone. Stallone was in the area filming Tulsa Kings, heard about the gun show and stopped by his booth Saturday. Sly was so impressed with the quality of the holsters he bought several and took a business card and told the guy he definitely would order more. In fact, Stallone said, "You're now my official gun holster maker". Stallone spent $10,000 at the show that day.

All I've done is build, build, build this summer and I'm over it! Think I've finally grown tired of constantly having something big going on sucking up all of my free time. They should have the roof installed Friday then I'm clocking out for awhile or at least from working on it every day.

Need to make time to replace the throw out bearing/slave cylinder in the Charger and get it back on the road.

The streets of the city were guarded while you were away. Do you REALLY want to go back is THE QUESTION.

Sounds like @Cranky wants to relax with the "NUTS"!!!
Started something 2 years ago that has snowballed a bit. Was feeding this one female squirrel that isn't aggressive and now I have 3 other females and one male coming around. There's one small female that's so skittish it's funny. She doesn't know if she wants to trust me or not. Anyways, the drought here has ruined the acorn crop and so far I haven't seen anything on all the oak trees in my yard and is probably why there's 5 showing up. And they eat like there's no tomorrow and don't seem to be getting fat.

Filling one haylage silo today to feed the herd of milking cows.

I get the silo job climbing and hooking up pto's while my father (67yr) rides the air conditioned harvester.
