Custom Powder Coating ...

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Until further notice, please choose the US Postal Service or UPS for all shipments you send to my shop rather than enlisting FedEx.

Something very strange is afoot at the Circle K and I need to get it resolved. (All I will say is that the matter is so serious that the authorities are now involved and are handling it.)

Thanks gentlemen!!!

Friday Powder **** for a new customer on ForBBodiesOnly, @Rayburn !!

Presenting nicely blasted valve covers and an air cleaner lid, he gets to enjoy the DIY savings as much as I did. (Factory black wrinkle is a bear to blast off.)

A bit more subdued than a lot of my work, the bodies are now very close to the matte VHT sample he included, the metallic silver will tie other accessories in, and the black accent stripe ribs will match the ARP hardware he is using.

His Pentastar logos wear a sparkly metallic gold. Hearing my beloved high school Art teacher Kenneth Hartman ('80s, Canon City, Colorado) echoing in my head again as I looked it all over, I had to agree with him.

"They need more CONTRAST!"

Now topped with clear ceramic too, those gold Pentastars and boxes sparkle and stand out a lot more than the powder clear provided. It was just the extra touch to call them Done.

Thanks as always for your support!!

P.S. I can only get one pre-bodywork pic to load. Lots of cosmetic issues on the whole layout (ribs, missing metal, air pockets, etc.) were addressed.

BIG NEWS!!!!

Only a few minor tweaks remain until the official Launch of my ALL NEW website!

Guys ... I haven't felt this energetic, rejuvenated and excited about the future in years. And it wasn't just because I finally got my first haircut since 2015.

Originally modeled after other service industry sites years ago (and just as boring save the pictures), I essentially kicked it to the dumpster this time.

My passion wrote this one, fingers guided by all these years of experience but most notably my dad who insisted on honesty backed by integrity.

It reflects not only current work but the true reality of stepping up to my bench and sliding onto the other seat for a bit.

I've never been just another corner coater. I hope you decide to READ THINGS too and not just scan the photos.

I want you to not only hire me, I want you to know me first and get exactly what you're expecting.

For those reading this post, use the Promo Code FBBO15 on the Contact Form somewhere -- after I fix it though lol -- I forgot to make it a .pdf first whoopssss lol -- and enjoy a 5% boost from your usual Forum Discount!

P.S. The About Us section will surprise Billy (maybe not all of you though lol). I figure he might look at it around 2029. Maybe. Meanwhile he'll keep telling his For Sale and Marketplace ad boys on the phone to "Check out what we do ..." right before he hangs up.

The other morning he tells me I 'need to clean out all that old ****.'

Haven't paid much attention to his input since he walked off back in 2009.

I most certainly did clean it out though while setting facts in concrete ... but it wasn't on the Gallery of Work Samples page he was referring to.

Instead, I added the purple part and the next 2 paragraphs in between the 'old' and newer feedback comments in the top section.

Straight from my heart.
Just like the entire site is now.

I hope you love it! Comments, bug reports and things I missed are welcome and appreciated!!!

Wow a lot of work went into that
from your link;
I watched & liked both videos, informative
good subtle tunes too

love all the different valve covers color selections

looks good

You do great work ! Congrats ! I have a question for you , can you match a blended color ?

I worked up my first custom grille complete with a full black-out on the back -- so nothing shows through -- and matching powdered rivets (an experiment that worked great)! It was so long I had to use my spray rack for the mockup and my pool table for the Powder **** spread.
The Intake Manifold Sale has ended. Thank you for your continued support in helping keep the door open!
Get in touch if I can help out with your vision too!
Love you guys!!! Muahhhhhhhh

Please try to get him (or her) to send you a pic of your work assembled on their car. I'd love to see it.
Another fine job!

Thank you gentlemen!!! It was a fun one.

Who is that cat?

That's The Stig. He and his sister Speck, my Bodywork Assistant -- shop cats since birth in March of 2015 -- just retired last Sunday and are now official Insiders.

They're getting older, and coupled with the outrageous cost of keeping the shop heater on 24/7 (about did me in last year), it was a pretty easy decision. They adapted very well to the house and are getting along with the others.

Something decidedly different, today's Powder **** is comprised of 12 color variations on used .45 centerfire brass bullet casings that Steven Fararre (815-822-1223 [posted with his permission]) turns into valve stem caps for bikes, cars and trikes! Most are Federal and Winchester. (They're available bare or polished as well if you prefer natural patina over powder.)
Have a vision for your own project???
Get in touch!
Thanks for your support!!

I love the pictures of your cats helping you! My shop cat loves to knock stuff off my benches.

They just retired and are very happy in the house with the others. They turned 7 this year, and frankly keeping the shop heater on 24/7 about did me in last year.

It's funny how "new blood" invigorated the Insiders! Even 12-year old Poof gets into the play action (plus she has another girl to pal around with now for the first time). The Stig already found out what a good pillow Poof makes.

I have to admit the shop is different without them out here. My tools and small stuff stay where I put them now (unless Billy's out here LOL) but I kinda miss the entertainment.

Hopefully the power will come back on any minute now and I can get back to work ....... the house has a generator (and a storm shelter) 48 steps away. I'm near Martin.

Steven just received the bullet casings yesterday and they're already SOLD OUT!!

Here's this in case you need to drop a hint ...

Thanks for your support FBBO!!!

These took him 7 years to find, the first Jaguar V12 parts to cross my bench. The castings needed a lot of bodywork. He provided a red color sample.

I hope they'll be living on a '73 XKE convertible in Colorado; now done for over a week, he kinda disappeared into the fog.
It's always tough getting paid during the holidays and this year it even includes November jobs. Ugh, I need a side hustle LOL!!!

May 31 marks my thirteenth year as a small business owner!!! I haven't posted up anything personal for awhile (still trying to get through a really busy winter) but just wanted to introduce the shop to any newcomers who might not know about it yet. FBBO Gold Members, FaceBook Fan Page members, Instagram Followers (@CudaChick1968), and of course our honored Military / Veterans / First Responders always enjoy a discount. The shop has a new Twitter Fan Page too @PhoenixCoating.

Here's a few recent samples from my bench. I specialize in custom one-offs, Mopar parts restorations and the most distinctive multi-color powder coating work you have ever seen.

If you have general questions, the FAQ section on my website is the best place to start and is tailored to new customers. It goes well beyond the generic "What are your hours?" kinds of questions and reading it can and will save you a substantial amount of money.

I am of course available every day after 10:00 a.m. Central U.S. time to discuss your details. I wouldn't be here without YOU! Your support and business mean the world to me and you will never be taken for granted.

Thanks for taking a moment to check me out!
