Just bought a new 24ft enclosed trailer for my 68 Coronet RT, I got the walls all painted and just wondering other than epoxy flooring has anyone had any luck with garage floor and deck paint on the floor.

I just used regular ole indoor/outdoor paint. Nothing fancy.

I have used dozens of gallons Pratt & Lambert "Palgard" two part 1:1 solvent based epoxy on our semi trailer wood floors and concrete shop floors for decades.
I believe it was years back bought by Krylon?
You will not find anything tougher. We toyed with water-based epoxy and the home depot rustoleum wannabe floor coverings and was never satisfied nor impressed

I used deck paint from Home Depot, it has a sandy finish so its not slippery.

For decades we have supplied outdoor stages for concerts in the South (ie rainy) Non skid additives were experimented with early on. They certainly added grip early on, and then as the paint lost its grip on the grit or the sand crystals shattered from use, the fine sand broke free, making for a continuous sandy/dusty unsweepable floor situation. Additionally, repainting seemed to just overcoat the remaining sand, reducing its grip with the additional thickness of the paint coat. And once it was applied, the grit is there in diminishing amounts, forever.

IMO, it's a solution that sounds good, but does not have a favorable ending.

I guess I don't have many photos showing the floor of my trailer. Mine is a 2007 and has held up this long.

I bought a 97 model 28' in about 02 and it had a vinyl wood grain floor in it. Still there. Oil, water, dirt, etc wipes/sweeps right up. I'll try'n get a pic tomorrow.

I know you said ideas other than epoxy but I thought I would throw it out there anyway. This is Home Depot, rust-oleum epoxy garage flooring. I was told it wouldn’t work. I primed the floor first then did the epoxy. I used the trailer for 4 years and it looked great when I sold it

The two enclosed trailers I have both had rolled linoleum floors when I bought them, very low maintenance. One has been as a general purpose utility trailer and the floor gets abused, and it has some tears and bad spots, mainly from dragging large items in and out of it. The other is mainly just used for moving cars and it has held up well. I have to say PrescotJeff's floor looks awesome!! as well as the finished floor of thehemikid's
