I'm working on a gen3 swap in to my '66 Charger and finally ready to tackle the install. I've got the gen3 hemi and Nag1 trans but I'm likely going to replace that Nag1 for a 545rfe.... I dont want to tackle all the nightmares associated with the Nag1. My question is, has anyone seen a trans cross member mount for the 545rfe? I saw older posts that are over 10 years old that had to fabricate a mount. Wondering if anyone has addressed this before I start diving in. Thanks!

Sorry I can't help, but I'll watch this because I have a 2008 6.1L with the Nag1 pullout I might try swapping into an old coronet also.

Probably worth a call to John Cope at Cope Transmission. He has definately done some work in that area, and would likely know and maybe sell off-the-shelf parts if they exist.

If the crossmember is the same as the 68 Coronet, I cut the bracket off and flipped it around. When I cut out the tunnel, I used a 10ga plate to replace the hoop portion and then cut the crossmember to fit. You will have to drill two new inner holes. Just reuse the insert for the new hikes. I will see if I can find my pics. Did the install in 2017. With the Schumacher poly engine mounts and all my parts coming from Bouchillon Performance, the stud on the cross member mount landed perfectly in that spot on the cross member.

Post #28 in this thread will show you the crossmember option. There is also a lot of good information in it as well for the rest of your build.
