Lets see all the cool 66-67 b-body mopar pictures.!!

Is this not the coolest country! we get to have such nice cars and enjoy time driving them!

Here's my 66 satellite vert turned gtx. A 440 was dropped in prior to restoration, and now it's out and a 440 from a real 67 gtx has been dropped in. The trans also from a 67 x. Almost all other parts for the resto have come from a 67 hemi gtx including the hood, trunk lid, rear end, and a few other goodies. Even still have the 426 hood ornament!

Car is painted snakeskin green pearl, and closer to being done than this pic shows.

Well, my plan is always been to build a 60's style cruiser, no chrome, no billet, just a smooth idle, with lots of torque. To that end I have assembled a stroked 400 (440 crank) with ported 906 heads and a six pack cam. I'm going to try a single plane intake at first, because I have one, and a 750 Holley VS. Transmission is a fresh 727 with 3.23 gears in the 8 3/4. I thought I would have it painted by now, but that isn't happening. I had the front clip and firewall and trunk pan media blasted and discovered that my nice trunk pan wasn't so nice. Donny is right that media blasting is money well spent.

Sorry for the poor quality pic, but it's all I could find right now. It was taken last summer when we were building the garage.

As you can see, the old girl needs work, but she drives. Slant six, three-on-the-tree. Hopefully someday, 360 (Magnum?) and four-speed.

II had one of those Belvedere I's. Navy blue.
My dad bought it new in December of '67, he gave it to me in June of '81 and I had to to junk it in '88 due to a woman who broad sided me in an interesection. I miss that car.
