Car ID SELLS them pre assembled
I will be going through the same journey shortly. Ditching the bulkhead and going with a painless set up possibly.
Looks like it’s for the distributor?
Correct, I just sold my 6AL ignition box and it definitely was included.
You have to call them
Msd pro billet 2 wire with a 6al box if you don’t want it to control timing, ditch the box if you do. Ready to run not compatible with the efi as...
Ya you got it right, 440 source has some nice brackets at a good cost. I got a 100 amp unit from a friend here, pulley and bracket from 440...
“Ready to run” no box required, 3 wires and a coil and you’re good to go
I had the RTR on my last 440, seemed to work fine
That double pumper might be a bit much for your motor
What motor is in your car?
I only seem 331&426 hemi ones. Do you have part numbers or anything?
Didn’t see anything for a 383 but there’s a 331 hemi distributor on eBay for $1300
I’m guessing your alternator is internally regulated?
Hmmm I’d guess they can be eliminated, in interested as well since I’ll be installing a 1 wire alt and msd digital 6al into my coronet
These are the ones I bought, cut to fit...https://www.summitracing.com/parts/MSD-31229
I just bought a set of cut to length MSD wires so I CAN have as little excess wire as possible also got msd wire seperators
That should work fine as far as I know, maybe someone with more knowledge about alts will chime in
If you look on the ID pad by the dosteibutor it should say for example - D383 that’s tell you the year
