The only issue I see with that is purely aesthetic. I don't like that little of an offset on the rear. I like my older cars to show a a little...
I have 275/60's on the back of my plymouth. Fine tires. Quiet, wear well, look good.
Should, although 6" of BS'ing is gonna put the rim pretty close to the spring I believe. All things being stock, I think.
I have a 29" tall tire on my 67 right now (255/70-15). I will say they're tight front to back. not much more diameter would work. width wise...
15x7 with a 4 3/8" back space and a 275/60 will fit. Some with no mods, others cars with the inside lip of the outer wheel opening trimmed back....
I have 205/75-15 on a 15x4 Studebaker rim. 27.1" tall
I've got 275/60-15's on a 15x7 with 4 3/8" BS on my 66 Satellite. No mods what so ever. Fits
15x10 will never fit stock wheel wells
15x8's will be very close. 15x7 with the 4.25/4 3/8"'s BS much safer. depends on tire size.
275/60 on a 15x7 with 4 3/8 BS fits. Tight though.-Jeff
