If the rods not hooked then what is stopping the pedal from going all the way down?

good question , I have never had a problem with torsion bars in a 318 car that I put a 440 into.

when filling did you turn the wheel all the way both ways about 4 times,could have air in it.
but does the sheet metal interfere with anything? I believe just the rod gos threw and it should not touch anything. So I would thing its a go...
I would call Dr Diff before I would cut anything. Did put the plate up against the booster to see if it would all clear?

There are 2 different PS unit so you need to see if you both have the same units. This is on ebay...
