Sorry, should have clarified that I was running the power cable for the ECU that way. Any signal wires are routed to the front in the opposite direction.

Yeah, my power is down the passenger side along with my fuel pump and ECU power cables. The driver side has the tail light harness.

Mine is a '72, but USCT recommended the front frame connectors as well for my 392 swap. I'm using the RMS front end. Supposedly it eliminates some vibration issues. They mount just in front of the front torque boxes. You may want to look into those.

I had plans for mounting the coil drivers, relay and fuse, but it worked out pretty well just shoving them into the void. If they rattle around or want to fall down I'll revisit it. I'm curious what you come up with.

I have the RMS front suspension, but a 45° adapter clears everything. I have just enough room to get the filter out. Might be worth mocking up before deciding which way to go.

If you wanted to, you could order your acrylic from sendcutsend with the holes already cut and the panel to shape. Something to consider if your cutting/drilling skills are somewhat questionable like mine.

If you can do the CAD, then there are a few places you can buy 3D prints from the cloud. Xometry and Cloud3DPrint are a few. The prices are pretty reasonable.
