Bad-*** instructions HawkRod. Thank you for sharing! I will definetly follow this to the letter! So if something goes wrong, I can blame you! Haha, I kid. But thank you and I'll post photos of the final product. Unfortunately, we've had some unexpected weather and it's too cold to apply the...
Thanks brother! Man, that fender would love nice in the back seat against the white seats!!! It's a 383 4-speed with Hurst pistol grip, but no A/C. Drives better with the windows down anyway!
I know I will get a lot of tomatoes thrown at me, but I'm planning on putting the Johnny Lightning's "PLYMOUTH" rear wheel fender decals on my 1971 Roadrunner. In all fairness, I don't know Johnny Lightning other than the fact it's a brand of die cast models from 1969. I'm 42 years old, so I'm...
Hey 1STMP, you could be right about the EV market slowing down the classic market a bit, but I don't think it will we are a dying breed!! I think I'm on the younger side of the pack because most of my classic car buddies are late 50s early 60s. I'm 42 years old, and I can tell ya, there is a lot...
Hey Dana, you and I are roughly the same age. I was 18 in 1998-1999... and you're right, I also remember muscle cars from 68-74 going for the price you mentioned. I had my eyes on a B5 Blue SS Chevy Chevelle for $7,000... way out go my reach. But that's my point, no one was paying those...
Awesome thanks! I was able to find numbers stamped on the passenger side of the engine under the distributor. Has the size, 383 and the date right below it. Thank you again!!!
Hey Guys, I have a 1971 RR, with a 383 engine 4 speed. I need to buy a new oil dip stick for it. Just wanted to know if I also need to know the year of the engine? Or just the 383 size? Also, would you know where the year would be stamped? I was told years ago that it was a 1965... but I have...
1971 In-Violet, white top, 383 with Air Grabber Hood, 4 speed Hurst pistol grip with white interior bucket seats and Gull-Wing.
Hey Guys, wanting to see what you guys think... I'm a proud yet humble owner of a non-project 1971 Plymouth Roadrunner (I added photo of my RR). And, as many of us do...
Not that I know... but, I did pull the rubber boot up a little hoping the rubber would hit the center console instead of the metal handle. I haven't pulled it back down into place and that's probably why it looks shorten
Hahaha, sometimes I have bad thoughts like this... but then I remember what happens to Wile E. Coyote every time he uses a saw... I would end up with my car falling through the center console!! Hahah
I was hoping this was a typical issue with a quick fix. I'm guessing I'll have to pull the shift boot up to get a better look at the adapter plate. I'm really hoping the center console wasn't misplaced.
I have a 1971 Plymouth Roadrunner with Hurst Pistol Grip with center console. I've had it for about 1.5 years. Does anyone know why the metal handle hits the chrome trim of the center console when the shifter goes into 2nd and 4th gear? It's been happening since I've had the car and it's...
Hey everyone,
I hope you all are doing well. I'm looking to paint my current Air Grabber hood on my '71 Roadrunner. Photos provided below. Does anyone know the Plymouth name for that matte black color? Or is it just any matte black color?
Also, I have seen some RR's that have the matte...
