Last December 2021 I installed my Hemi from the top into my 67 Charger. My only issue was the driver side exhaust manifold clearing the power steering unit, so I removed the exhaust manifold and dropped it in. I had the car on a 4 post lift, so installing my transmission was not an issue with my...
That's interestin, I have bought several parts from Richard EHRenberg for my restoration. The most expensive and rare part I bought was an original starter from him for my 67 Hemi, which is a one year only solenoid on the BOTTOM setup. I paid $1500 after looking for a year and trying 3 different...
Good morning Big Bad Dad, Iread your post a few weeks ago and was waiting to see if the new brake tube jumper lines from Dr Diff would work before buying the fitting you suggested. Wel the lines did not work, they leak, so I just ordered the fitting you suggested. I'll let you know how it fts...
Good morningTerry, all good questions. Yes my car is a 1967 Charger and the rotating headlights did not work when I bought the car nor did the dash lights. I had the opportunity to install a new wiring harness in my engine bay becasue I had the engine out. The reason I bought Tophers relays was...
I have read so many posts for the last 6 months and have tried to resolve my dash lights not working but no luck. This morning I realized that I do not have my 3 new relays installed for the rotating headlight buckets. Do those relays have to be connected in order to complete the circuit to...
I have lived in Naples Florida for 37 years and have been through 4 Hurricanes. My cars are secure but this guy had 4 cars, two of which he moved to higher ground before the storm hit. The 2 damaged in the storm , he put up on the lifts never thinking the water surge would blow thorugh his...
I posted a picture of the Superbird and Daytona that were thrown out of the garage on Bonita Beach Rd in Bonita Springs Florida two weeks ago by Hurricane Ian. I live in Naples but have close ties to Bonita Beach property. When I posted the photo all of the naysayers said it was "photoshopped"...
That's an interesting fitting but I will try Dr Diff's brake lines first and see if that works. Thanks for the information, I will save in my files if needed. Have you used this type of fitting?
Yes I agree, I thought it might be the caliper seat BUT I have a second set of new calipers that I installed and it still leaked. I have taken a photo of the seat and attached. I even tried another Forum member recommendation to install a Parker 2GF-3 washer, see attached photo, and it still...
I installed the same line on two different calipers. I had bought a second set of calipers for future needs. When the first caliper leaked at the top, I installed the second caliper and the nut threaded all the way in. I wrote to Cass (Dr Diff) and he questioned the same observation. He sent me...
My Charger has the 4 piston Bendix calipers and they are different than yours. I have a back-up set of calipers and yesterday I removed the driver side caliper and replaced with the newly refurbished caliper. The top of the caliper brake line still leaked with my new brake line that came with my...
I hear your frustration with the front disc brakes. On my 67 Charger, I did buy the master cylinder and booster fron Dr Diff. At the time ( 2 yrs ago) he was very helpful by phone and email. I had my original Bendix 4 piston calipers rebuilt by Calipers Online, very easy to talk with and great...
Yeah I pinched it and mine still falls off. I will buy a new one at one of the auto stores mentioned by gary h and see if it stays on any better than the one I have. Thanks for both responses.
Hurricane Ian hit Southwest Florida on September 28, 2022. I live in Naples and the storm had winds up to 155 mph. These two cars were torn out of thier garage on a beahfront home in Bonita Springs, Florida. The force of the water broke through the garage doors and the cars were strewn in the...
To piggy back off of this post, what about the wire clip that fastens to the oil sending unit from the wire harness that comes up from the starter? I have a 67 Charger Hemi with a new battery cable wire harness, which conects to the starter and has one wire that connects onto the oil sending...
Well I just found the answer at Mopar Mall. See link:Brake rotor disc for 1966-69 Plymouth Belvedere - GTX - RoadRunner - Satellite and Dodge Charger - Coronet - SuperBee with disc brakes
I had mine reconditioned at Calipers Online. Did a nice job. Calipers Online
I had the same type of pitting on mine. I had bought the kit, installed but the pistons fit too tight. So I bit the bullet and sent to Calipers Online. Call Mark @ 810-278-3141. Good luck.
