    Coronet relay?

Yea it is either clipped to the left side of the steering column bracketry or clipped to the side of the ashtray. The '68 Coronet I think both hazard and blinker where on each side of the ash tray and the Duster one was on the ash tray and the other the left side of the steering column brackets

Need Pictures of 67 Coronet R/T with factory stripe

I know this is an old thread but this old Dodge commercial says there WAS an option for "Competition Stripes" in 1967 for the RT. Look at timestamp 7:10. It shows and says it has a cool hood and optional Competition Stripe.

    1966 Charger Speedometer issue

I just got my '68 Coronet speedo fixed. A common problem is there is a plastic retainer that hold the magnets into the housing that the cable plugs into. The needle is connected to a cup that it around the magnets. When the retainer gets old and brittle it can break allowing the magnets to...

    New or old A/C

    1. I had the dash out so I am not sure. The service manual will tell you. 2. No there is another valve that diverts coolant mounted to the face of the heater core itself. 3. Yes but I would personally send the core to GlenRay radiator for re-core. $250 + shipping is more expensive (barely) but...

    New or old A/C

Rebuild it. The Chrysler AC compressor is easy to work on and bullet proof. Here is what I did. Note keep reading I struggled to understand the front seal and had to buy another one but finally figured it out. I can't recall what page it is on but it is later on in the build after I got it...

Heater Water Flow Valve On Factory AC Car

Yup, talked to Jim at Heater Control Valve. This was a feedback system that would try to regulate the heat a little. It was a gas valve and once the line is cut it is all over. He said the adjustment of the feedback was very limited and when he rebuilds them he installs a pin to lock this...

Heater Water Flow Valve On Factory AC Car

I have been playing with the valve. I think the way it works is the cable sets the major position and the modulation via the tube is just a fine tune, it does not seem like it is able to move the valve very far. Not sure yet but that is what it appears to me. I plan on calling the this guy...

Heater Water Flow Valve On Factory AC Car

My money says it really did not work that great and they had a newer more "modern" auto temperature design by the 70's.

Heater Water Flow Valve On Factory AC Car

Oldbee is correct in principal only it is applied to the heater side. From an old article on Hemmings: "Many of the more expensive models of car in the 1950s and early '60s used a thermostatic heater valve. These valves incorporated a thermostatic capillary tube that measured air temperature...

Another Rear quarter window seal question

Likely that was me and that explains a lot. In '68 that strip was moved to the chrome on the front glass! They have it listed as rear window vertical weatherstrip under rear windows which I could not understand till now. Just call these guys and tell them what your after. I got most of my...
