The button looks to be adjusted a little deep. Loosen the set screw and spin the knob until the ribbed part is more flush with the housing. Set screw should be at 6 o'clock.
Has anyone dealt with Paul's near Pittsburgh? I sent them some pics of my plates for an online quote. Should be interesting finding out what it will cost.
Has anyone had their 66-68 style console plates rechromed, and if so, who would you suggest? I was trying to find out if it was feasible to send them out, or spend the $650 for a new set.
The tensioning screws are on the top of the mounting plate where it mounts to the roof. If it's a one piece arm with a ball/socket at the back of the mirror that method wouldn't apply.
