This lead goes to the solenoid connection on the starter relay. The other end attaches to a carburetor solenoid. Note that there will also be the solenoid lead from the positive battery cable that continues from the solenoid...
That would be the solenoid terminal. I have that spade connector connected to that plated terminal. I’ll have to call M&H as recommend I reckon. Thanks!
To which terminal would it connect with? I presumed the battery terminal initially but the fork is slightly smaller gapping that the post. Enough so that I would have to bend it open to fit. Is this correct? Thanks! Trying not to burn down the house while learning/figuring things out.
I do have a factory shop manual and I can’t find this wire anywhere! Or at least I can’t locate it. But believe me, I’ve spent days and hours flipping pages and examining. Was hoping someone would have a definitive answer from experience. Thanks!
I have an M&H engine harness for my 72 440 727. No instructions and I don’t have an existing harness to follow. Any idea where the black wire with the fork end goes? Thanks!
Appreciate it! And I have one on order. I have other diagrams via online. I’m still confused about the fuse block with the batt and acc. If I’m reading the diagrams correctly, they should be spliced in? But that’s concerning as all the wiring is in the car and original. There’s nothing spliced...
