There are Phillips head screws that go up into the body on some cars I have seen 5/16 headed screws but they could have been messed with..

Nope it has two “U” shapes on the back side and just snaps on.. You can use a flat blade or putty knife and pry gently between the chrome and the trim.. It will pop right off.

What's your opinion on them? Do they have the part numbers on them like B E and A lenses? Are they a cast resin or Acrylic injected plastic like oem? Just curious about quality of them..

Snap ring pliers with the larger tips work fine if it wasn't put on by a gorilla..

If your restoring/repainting your dash frame and your careful you can just grind the back side off, push them through then just epoxy the originals back on from the backside.. It won't be seen..

Creative that is for sure. Can I ask now that they are done and glued back together does the light still pass through them giving them that glow or does the glue block them from being Illuminated like the others that are unaltered??

That is a neat job you did. Keep in mind the original fasteners filled the hole completely as the pin in the middle expanded the plastic and sealed... Personally I would seal them where water can get inside...

Nos, rebuilt or used that's about it. None reproduced that I know of... I never looked if a 66 lock would work, The exterior part is small compared to a 64 door lock so it would look different that is for sure.. Here is a set.. Guy has lots of locks and keys maybe you can ask him...

Honestly first thing I thought of...

The top left ones are for Polara models that have the reverse lights in the taillight assembly... The ones with the reverse lights cut into them are factory and for 330 and 440 models that only have the individual brake lights on the tail panel..

Top Aluminum trim is for 64 Polara models around the license plate with and with-out reverse lights....

Thanks but they are Plymouth ones... Dodge is totally different long and thin with "bars" molded in them...
