Agreed and Personally if that bothers the OP I would save money to just do it all at once cause I would guarantee other areas are not far behind... OR Leave it alone and use as is instead of chasing one area at a time.
Best to drop the whole car off as it will need to be blended into the fender and quarter.. Otherwise it will look really bad with a door that doesn't match the fender or the quarter..

That looks like it was stripped and not prepped properly before painting . I bet there is probably way more rust under that paint than you think.. Strip it and find out how bad it really is..
I wouldn't worry it's only been an hour or so plus most of these guys are a one man band these days as they are incredibly busy as many don't do this work anymore...
Ok your wording is not correct and that was what was throwing me off.. So you have the original USED parts off the car that were replaced with nos ones.. NOS is not used parts.. I would still keep the original parts..
