Thanks for the heads up on the large board.

Tunnel is done but not fully welded in. Waiting until all the fab is done and will pull the trans out through the inside while I can. Way easier. Working on the A/C now. Was trying to use the Jeep unit but way too big. Has this vintage air left over from another build and it is going to work...

Some weekend progress. Now time for the harder tunnel work that I am not looking forward to.

For sure, I would not of cut it up if it was a “rare” car but it was a rusty base car. I agree with you on the side of, it’s that persons car and they can do what they want with it. Especially if it means another car on the road and another person in enjoying a classic car. Nice looking charger.

Yeah, with no floor it is easier.

More progress. Made the pipes come together for a x pipe and added v-bands for the collectors. Still need to move the o2 sensors and add the cats.

Staring to put in the floor. A slip roll here would be nice but a very rarely used tool normally.

One inner tub in and the right 1/4 on. Fitting all this stuff takes so much time.

I will need to rework all of it as I have moved the tubs up in the car so it can sit lower and not rub

Lucky I already did get them.

Got the roof off and shaved off the drip rails. Got the 1/4 off also while I was making a mess.

Got one 1/4 on. Took quite a bit of cutting to allow the 1/4 to match the radius of the door. Overall not too bad.

Machined the coil pockets to accept the QA1 coil overs. My upper tabs put the suspension travel where the car will be too low so I will get another set cut out to move forward.

Onto the 1/4 replacement. Got the tail panel on already.

While I was cutting I figured I might as well start the panel replacement while I wait for parts.

Some things you find on such a overhaul do and don’t surprise you. The 1/4 patch not so much, but the fiberglass and bondo from the inside to patch the lower window rust is new to me.

Got to work on the rear for mock up but inner fender wells were in the way so they had to go.

Got the front mocked up. Need a little more clearance at full compression but no big deal.
