    Upper fender brace

I bought the braces that US cartool has. Much more beefier than stock. Once the fenders are on, no one sees them. In addition to those, I also bought the lower rad support brace.

Reverse lamp wiring for a 4 speed 1971 Road runner

bee71, here is a pic of my firewall - slightly different than the one you posted. My car did start out life with an auto transmission - I converted it to a 4 speed setup. I assume that I may have to drill an additional hole in the firewall for some of the harness to go thru? Doug - thanks for...

Reverse lamp wiring for a 4 speed 1971 Road runner

Similar to Air Grabbers post about the reverse lamp wiring, but my question is for the wiring that goes from the back of the transmission. I bought the wiring harness for it. Where does the other end get plugged into? Is there a spot on the bulkhead for it?

    My 1971 Road runner

As for the lower control arms, I cleaned them up with the scrubbing bubbles. I ordered some actual spray on cosmoline coating. I'll apply it once it comes in. The upper arms had an aluminum type of finish on them. I scuffed them down and put on a light grey paint. Future plans call for changing...

    Rear light thingy?

The only thing being reproduced are the lenses and the trim that goes around the lenses if you have a GTX. As far as getting housings - nope. Work with what you have, or look for another set that's in better condition.

1971 vs 1972 Strobe Stripes: Is it just me?

Correct YY1. The bottom of the stripe is to be located in the middle of the wheel opening. On the OP photo, that stripe is too far to the right & you can see the bottom of the stripe is nowhere near the middle of the wheel opening.

1971 vs 1972 Strobe Stripes: Is it just me?

More to it than just the bird. The number of strobe stripe segments are more on the 72 stripe. I think its 10 or 11 segments on the 72 stripe vs 6 on the 71. The roof portion of the stripe on a 72 is solid where on a 71 the strobe segments continue from one side to the other. The bird...

Pull the fenders - they like to hide alot of rusty areas. My 71 came from out west (Humboldt area). I went thru that process some time ago. My full build is over on the Road runner nest website, It'll give you some idea of the rusty areas that an be found on these models. Startin to work on the...

Looking for pictures or images of a 71/2 Plymouth Air Grabber hood

Ben, I went thru the ordeal. I made my hood into an Air Grabber. I bought the kit from Stinger. The 4 rear holes for the bell nuts are huge - I think they need to be at least 1" in dia. but double check before you drill. I posted my work on the Road runner nest forum. Startin to work on the...
