I'm 3/4 of the way on a 70 blazer build for a coworker. It's paying for Cuda parts so I guess I can't complain too much. I too got a 6.1 intake with srt8 injectors. Just parts collecting at the moment. Hopefully I will get back on it by January. Great job on yours!!! That is awesome!!

OK, one other thing is make sure your running premium fuel, the eagle heads are a smaller combustion head compared to the 6.1, maybe it's pinging or prohibiting setting off the knock sensors.

It may have been the chain tensioner, there are cases of them loosening up and skipping time. Some are lucky and are a little retarded and no piston damage and others trash the motor. Good find!

Checking the drivers side is good, making sure the lifters are getting oil supply. the p0016 usually a code the pcm finds a few degrees corilation between the camshaft and crankshaft. That like you said can be a crank or cam sensor, possible off time but you marked the items so probably not...
