That brace looks like it's for a coil spring app only, and I can't find anywhere that says it fits a Mopar. Do you have the cast aluminum cover it needs for your 8 1/4?
I think the most cost effective would be a small block727, with good pieces inside. Doug gave you a recipe. If you are serious about drag week, I would be inclined to go with a 4L80, for the strength and the overdrive. I don't know how much would need to be done to the 4L80 to support 700 or...
The Donut man, are they on Grand ave. in the Stater bros complex? Worked around the corner, bought lots of glazed for breakfast there! Great donuts, good prices, nice people! Would have destroyed a yum yum next door.
I have friends living in Bellflower. I remember Chris and Pitts. Didnt they sell their BBQ sauce in supermarkets.?
My grandparents lived in Temple city, just down the street from Winchells. I met some lifetime friends at the cruise nights held a century ago at the Winchell in Monrovia.
There's a...
Yep.105-115 is pretty normal this time of year, here. 30% is a little high, but not bad. Ive seen 5-9% on hot days... It's hot out.... but cool inside.
Those studs must be grade two soft metal. I guarantee your not gonna bend a grade eight set screw.
Some Mopar guys don't realize the stock iron big block heads have the valve cover bolt holes at a non-perpendicular angle, while aftermarket aluminum heads are. The fabled covers that use a long...
Ding ding winner! Both correct for a 62 Plymouth. The wheel covers for a 14"wheel, the hub caps for a 10" pre 67 center.
68up wheels take a nine inch cap . I think 67 was a changeover year, I don't know what is correct.
I've got 9" 67 barracuda caps on my 62 savoy, nobody has said a word about them.
Still have churches here. Better chicken than KFC, was getting beat by my local Popeyes until the Popeyes two piece special tripled in price in a year.(believe it or not, prior to the bidumb debacle. )
I've been getting my fried chicken from Smiths or Stater bros lately. Not bad, not great, half...
I used 1/4-20 set screws, I think 1 1/2" long, with painted moroso covers. Made some load spreaders. The set screws and nuts will be about a quarter, or less, than the arp kit, and the setscrews are grade eight.
There was a Long John Silvers combined with a Taco Bell here, but the LJS went away, and the Taco Bell remained.
The only A&W that was local to my calfornia place closed up years ago. I thought they were done and gone. Out of curiosity brought on by another thread, I found out that there is one...
