Do you mean the normal venting from the gas tank vents? Anything pre 70-71ish has tank vents to open air. I only noticed on mine when I moved it into garage attached to the house.

Sure. Factory sway bar at least on my 340 73 RR with an 8 3/4. Yours is in better shape than mine! Maybe bushings are worn out and new ones might bring yours back to center.
Got my build sheet and after a little searching here, it looks like the car did come with a 3.23 Sure Grip. But at some point someone replaced part of the gears due to the date stamp of 1973. Once again, thanks for all of the help with this everyone!
